Indirect Employee's Job Description
- Plant Manager - directs the daily operations of the facility and is responsible for the overall profitability at the end of each year.
- Human Resources - handles recruiting, hiring according to the needs of the facility, and overseeing the needs of the employees.
- Reliability Engineer - ensures the maintenance of the facility and oversees the quality department.
- Quality Engineer - oversees quality assurance in the facility, delegates work to the Quality Technicians, and reports directly to the Reliability Engineer.
- Quality Technicians - test and enforce the quality assurance of the parts, materials, and programs in the facility.
- Accounting Manager - handles the payment of contractors and any other charges for the facilities.
- Payroll Clerks - handles the timesheets of every employee in the facility.
- Office Receptionist - over receiving and transferring calls to the different departments and welcoming visitors into the facility. They are also responsible for the mail that is brought to the facility.
- Assembly Supervisor - oversees the tasks of the assembly department and ensures that the Assemblers meet their daily goals.
- Fabrication Supervisor - oversees the tasks of the fabrication department and ensures Fabricators meet their daily goals.
- Material Handling Supervisor - handles the flow of the product from the fabrication department to the assembly department to the warehouse to get ready for distribution.
- Material Handlers - certified forklift operators that move the product from one department to another and ensure that any low materials in the department are filled again
Benefit Package
RayDesks recommends the benefits listed below be for all employees that will be hired. The package is sectored off in three sections to show when the plans should be implemented. Section 1 should be implemented within fourteen days of the employee's start date. Section 2 should be implemented after the employee has been with the company for three months. Section 3 should be implemented after the employee has been with the company for seven months. In section 1, the benefits covered are health, dental, and vision insurance that will be provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield. The company will cover 50%, 20%, and 10% of the cost respectively. Section 1 also includes life insurance, and the company will cover the full amount of the policy. In section 2, the benefits covered are the retirement plan, which will be provided through fidelity, and paid time off. The company will have a 5% match of the maximum amount the employee can put in a year in the retirement plan. Paid time off includes 8 holidays, 10 vacation days, and 5 sick-leave days a year. Up to 4 vacation days can roll over into the next year. In section 3, the employee has the option of receiving 3% stock in the company.
